Gold Coast Suns membership numbers rocket on back of qualifying for AFL final series

Incrementum Advisory Group would like to congratulate the Gold Coast Suns on qualifying for their maiden AFL final series in 2025.

First beginning the relationship three years ago, Incrementum Advisory Group has worked closely with the Gold Coast Suns in the establishment of the ‘Gold Coast College of Sport and Business’ and, more recently, to support the consumer team.

 

As part of the support provided with overall consumer strategy, structure, product and pricing, Incrementum Advisory Group were also able to work closely with the Suns on their eye-catching pre-finals member acquisition campaign. 

 

The campaign featured the opportunity for Gold Coast Suns supporters to sign up as a 2026 member, with selected 2025 benefits included to make the packages more attractive.

 


The campaign was brilliantly executed, with the Suns increasing total paid membership and membership revenue by more than 35% in just six weeks.  

 

Impressively, one third of the new members that signed up as part of the offer were new prospects who had not previously existed on the Club’s database. 

 

“I could not be happier for the Club, the success of this campaign has been far beyond any of our expectations” said Incrementum Advisory Group Director, Cain Liddle. 

 

 “From the CEO Mark Evans, down to the casual sales staff in the call centre, the entire Club has got behind this campaign and left no stone unturned to maximise the outcome”.

 

“The results of this campaign are now reflective of what I have seen at Richmond and Brisbane Broncos in the past, two of the largest and most successful clubs in Australia.  For a young club, in a non-traditional AFL state, the Suns results are extraordinary”.

 

Andrew Thomas, Gold Coast Suns General Manager Commercial & Consumer, was equally thrilled with the results of the campaign. 

 

“Our club is being propelled forward both on-and-off the field right now and it's an exciting place to be”, Thomas said.

 

 “This campaign is the culmination of a full year’s preparation.

Gold Coast Suns will play their maiden AFL final on 6 September against the Fremantle Dockers - another former Incrementum Advisory Group client.
